nano kaise padi hindustani tax payer ko mehengi

Let us have a look at few facts:

  • The Modi government provided a soft loan of Rs 9,570 crore at a notional interest rate of 0.1 percent to set up the project and also deferred repayment for 20 years.
  • All cost of infrastructure development were incurred by the government and Power tariff rates were reduced.
  • Subsidies of Rs 700 crore were given towards the expenditure on shifting machinery and equipments from Singur to Sanad.

According to one estimate each Nano car costs the government which invariably menas the tax payer Rs 60,000 in base year prices. CP Chandrashekhar states in his article in Frontline (May 2014) that leaked documents showed that Modi had doled out Rs 30,000 crore in "sops to Tata Motors to entice them to move the nano project to Gujarat".

Considering this great "dariyadili" of our business friendly CM it was not surprising that the Tata group was not hit too badly when the project bombed with capacity utilisation at a reported 25 percent, exposing the hollowness of the claims of turning Sanad into the Detroit of India.

halanki ye baat alag hai ki in jhhothee dawaon ki kalai khul jane ke bavjood bhi "sanad hindustan ka detroit banega" is lubhavne divaswapn ko nakarane ko aaj bhi kayi log raji  nahi hain. Nissandeh Adolf Hitler ne sach hi kaha tha kisi jhooth ko agar bahut baar dohra dia jaye to log use sach manane lagte hain.
